Background: The V5 epitope tag is derived from a small epitope （Pk） present on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 （SV5）. The V5 tag is usually used with all 14 amino acids, although it has also been used with a shorter 9 amino acid sequence.

Specificity : · anti-V5 Tag is a Mouse monoclonal antibody unconjugated

· recognizes V5 tag on either the N- or C-terminus of any recombinant fusion protein; no other amino acids surrounding the V5 Tag sequence are required for the recognition of the V5 Tag.

· epitope mapping is V5 Tag peptide conjugated KLH,

· use for Immunocytochemistry /IF, IP, WB

Application : · Western blotting 1:100-500

· Immunohistochemistry 1:100-500

· ELISA 1:500-1000

· Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Storage: Store at –20 ºC for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20ºC. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 ºC.
